Polygamy may be a norm back in the ancient times, but I don’t think it’s practical nor should it be encouraged in today’s modern world when there is an increase in STD and not to mention household income issues as well. There was actually a good reason why polygamy was practiced in the old Islamic civilisation, but today it’s more about sexual conquests and trophy wives than anything else. That’s how I see it.
