Come to the point, i have got internet connection at home already after trying to get the tmNutz to fix the steamyx at my place..waited for more than 2 bloody month, no feedback and i have to call and find out myself and got to know that there’s no port in our block….grrrr, bet u all don’t wanna hear me swear again..
I had no choice other than looking for the wireles broadband services, mexis?silkum or tigi?? I rather not to use internet if i were to choose the last option because my friend is going through shit using it, so left is mexis and silkum. Walked into their specialised store and welcomed by the hot promoters, hehe.
I was briefed about the promotion package but turned down by the silkum people that they don’t offer the services to those staying about 4th level of any apartments or condos. damn, the package was lucrative whereby the monthly charges is cheaper than mexis and they will waive first two months subscription fee and the blue cube modem looks cool and has an external 2GB memory card slot in it…hmm, i liked it but my home dont like me having it…
Back to mexis store and consulted the guy again (i didnt ask the hot lady promoter cuz they are not technical person as the male promoters there). The guy didn’t tell me about the network availability on the high rised floors, so i asked him. hmm, yet another turned down but i was told that if im not satisfied with the service i can always return back the modem and get my 100 bucks registration fees back.
And here i am, blogging with the sanitary napkin (without the wing) type of wireless modem provided by the Maxis broadband services.
I read many reviews, rants and complains online as well as from the word of mouth about all the wireless broadband services in Malaysia, but to me, its all base on luck just like getting a proton cars. If you are lucky enough, you will be driving them for years without any issues but if u are like me, then it will be like this

Touch wood the connection is fine so far although im staying 3 times higher than the given height limit but it got disconnected twice when it was raining heavily. Hmm, keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t hurt me again. Now i have mobility freedom and i dont need to carry my P.I.C to the wifi hotspots at wee hours.

Bro, I actually used maxis wireless broadband two years back while in uni at the fifth floor. I got the wonderful services during the first seven days (guarantee period) after that, it was downhill. There were times when they will simply disconnect the services and i got to call up the centre to reactivate it. Rainy season jangan harap dapat..They also cap the bandwidth..so at the very near end of month, my internet will be slow..I hope the service is better now..:D
oppsie daisy, thats scaring the shit out of me man…and gues wat, i read the fair usage policy in theor website and it goes like this
“5.3.1 Each customer’s total usage per month shall NOT exceed 3GB of data volume transmitted (total upload and download usage). This is to ensure that no individual hogs the bandwidth at all times. ”
i mean, what the f*ck larr, i pay for it i use la, knncb!!! nothing is good in malaysia except the political dramas ad gimmicks!!
Well, thats how those fellar make money ler..even the torrent also i had to download from 1am to 6am. That’s the onli time i was able to download torrents. All the service providers are still far behind for broadband la..so far, although streamyx sucks, i think its better than the rest…

welcome to the club bro.. so far as for me im very satisfied with maxis but the only issue is i have to sit in my room if i wanna stream or download porn…bcoz there the connection is faster than if i were to sit in my liviing area…anyhow maxis have helped alot in downloading porns…thanks maxis..now each time i ejaculate i think of maxis…
