Not much different for this year ponggal celebration for me. Last year was away in singapore and this year im working as well.<\/p>\n<p>What is ponggal? Well, its called the thanksgiving day which is mostly celebrated grandly by the farmers. It&#8217;s to convey their gratitude to god and mother nature for their bountiful harvest. To know more, please google yourself or click <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pongal\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>&#8230;hehe<\/p>\n<p>The only different between the past ponggal and this ponggal is, i have a DSLR and i managed to take a few shots of the celebration from the temple.
