Deepavali Friendster Comments

Hi friends, hope all of you are doing fine without my craps for sometime, lolz. I used to question those who claim that they don’t even have time to do some simple task in daily life and they used to curse me that i will know one day when it happen to me and shit you guys, its happening.

I didn’t even have the time to reply a simple sms of my friends nowadays so can you imagine how it feels. Yea, achu is right, for once im doing work for what i’ paid for, lolz.

Anyway, i dont wish to bore you guys again with my craps. Here i had created two diwali comments for my fellow Friendster Users,Fans and friends. If you think its worth sharing with your fellow friends, all you need to do is copy the code below the image and paste in the comment column in the Friendster and tadaa, it will appear there in few minutes.

Well, its actually nothing special if you just look at it as Just-another-comment, yea i agree with you. But what makes me think its different is, i am the owner of the photos (novin cant sue me for copyright) and its taken by my kanne (my 400D). I didn’t “steal” others pic and photoshop and share it online, thats the only reason i feel lil proud ( although the pictures are not above the par).

The beginning of NAVARAATHRI (The Nine Nights)

Nava means 9 and raathri means night in sanskrit, its a hindu celebration which will be held for 9 consecutive days.

Navaratri is divided into sets of three days to adore different aspects of the supreme goddess. On the first three days, the Mother is invoked as powerful force called Durga in order to destroy all our impurities, vices and defects. The next three days, the Mother is adored as a giver of spiritual wealth, Lakshmi, who is considered to have the power of bestowing on her devotees the inexhaustible wealth. The final set of three days is spent in worshipping the mother as the goddess of wisdom, Saraswati. In order have all-round success in life, we need the blessings of all three aspects of the divine mother; hence, the worship for nine nights. Even the chinese or taoism has nine days celebrations for their god as well, its call jiu wang yeh in mandarin and kow wong yeh in cantonese.

 Actually i thought of writing up a blog about each and everyday about the celebration and meanings of the days but when i googled it, i found too much of info here , here, here and many more here, so i dropped the idea since my readers might get bored of me being acting religious. Guys, I’m not religious or superstitious, but i do have my own religion and at the same time i respect the atheist, because I believe everyone has got their own reason of believing into something. Believing in not believing in god is also a belief, agree? Am i confusing? Sorry if i did, lolz. Why am i saying it, because i was mistaken as a MR HOLY wannabe here.

Hmmm, last year navaraathri i was in India and the celebration was damn nice but this year here, miss it big time where you can see the vehicles will be tied with banana trees, you read it right, its banana trees as a part of rituals, haha. I shall upload it if remember.

Time flies really fast and really wish to be in Calcutta for next year navaraathri. i wish i can write more about it but i need to rush back home, get showered and go to temple, hehe, sounds pious huh? let me be atleast holy for this nine days being vegetarian lor.hehe

Selamat Hari Raya AidilFitri

To all my muslims friends whom fasted (puasa) for the past one month during the holy month of ramadan, here goes my 100 degree celcius hot Hari Raya Wishes!!!

May god blessed you all with the sacrifice of being sacred and pure through out the whole Ramadhan month. Any house open for me? i mean open house ler..

p/s: its not a mosque, its the judgement palace ( istana Kehakiman) in putrajaya, malaysia. But the structure is very islamic therefore i used that image for my greetings background.

Happy Onam Festival

To all my dear malayalee friends all over the world, here goes my heartiest Onam Ashamshangal (Happy Onam) wishes!!!

What i know about Onam is all about 16 types of vegetables dishes and my favourite inji puli ( tamarind ginger) plus many other kolambu’s (gravy). Other than food, of course the omanakutties with the white blouse showing the sexy belly, woww… i have to admit that Kerala is one of the land that produces pretty Indian girls.

Onam is the biggest and the most important festival of the state of Kerala. It is a harvest festival and is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm all over the state by people of all communities. According to a popular legend, the festival is celebrated to welcome King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam.  Source

Actually there are many things to talk about Kerala and Malayalees but then vickneswaran.com will become manjakz.com malayalee.org, so to maintain the originality of my personal blog, i stick to the purpose of this posting which is to wish all my dear malayalee friends whom are celebrating Onam Festival. I wish I will be in Kerala next year during this time to celebrate and enjoy the real Onam fever. And the food is simply amazing, gosshh, guess im too hungry that’s why im keep talking about it.

So, if I did hurt any of you, my dear malayalee friends, please forgive me. Those who can forgive are like god!! Cheer up

 

p/s: may i know what is that malayalee theme song: kadalanakkara ponnoreh, something nakkara ponnoreh, yenge poyi yenna konduvaaroooo mean a? ( i know the pronunciation is wrong, but im sure u understand what i meant there, rite?) Anyone out there care to explain?thanks

Happy Birthday, Lord Ganesha

Hindu’s has the tradition or habit to name the baby after god’s name like lingam is another name for  lord shiva, krishna is another name for lord vishnu, kantha is another name of lord balasubramanyam and ahemmm vickneswaran (my name, of course) for lord vinayagar a.k.a ganesha.

In Hinduism, each Lord has many avatar and in each avatar they are given different name. For an example, the real Dasavataram ( not the kamal’s latest movie) which narrates the 10 avatar of lord vishnu in playing different role in different yuga. I dont wish to elaborate more about the avatars here, there’s google and one can always google for it, lolz.

It’s 3rd of Sept and its vinayagar chathurthi ( lord ganesha’s birthday). If you are somehow planning to go to down town Kuala Lumpur today, I advise you not to attempt to drive pass the pudu area. The massive celebration in Court Hill Vinayagar temple will definately flood the whole puduraya area today till midnite and its like a mini thaipusam.

I wish i can be there but due to certain circumstances, i wont even be able to go temple tonight. It’s your bad, lord ganesha, you just don’t wish to see me rite?hmmm…

Anyway, happy birthday cute gundu boy ganesha!!!

Happy Friendship Day, buddies!!!

Hi all, ever since i started blogging and twittering, my socializing SMS’ rate had gone lesser. It doesnt mean that i had forgotten those whom i used to keep in touch often, its just that im trying to move on with the fast pace of IT and Technology growth. Actually to cut down my few hundred bucks phone bills

Its 1st August, wonder how many of us remember, realize ( such event) or forgotten its friendship day today. So i would like to take this opportunity to wish allllllll my good friends, best friends, not so good friends, platonic friends, hi-bye friends, chat friends, friendster friends, facebook friends,blogger friends,i-hate-ur-fuckin- fattitude friends and all those who think i am their friends and who ever think that i used to be their friends, A VERY HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY!!!!

I watched Kuselan today, there’s this beautiful quote in the movie; “Maatha, Pitha, Guru, Nalla Namban and Deivam”, which is Mother, Father, Teacher, Good Friend and God. It’s a famous quote, ermm, I would say its a mandatory guidance for all human being to follow as the priority sequence. The original sequence doesn’t include the good friend in the loop of the sequence. But some how rather, I do find it make sense that good friends are the one who plays vital roles in our life. watch kuselan’s ending for the explanation about the quote.

Hello people, the most anticipated day for me to celebrate had finally arrived. My blog is One year old now!!!!

It’s been a year i’ve been blogging, really cant believe that i had so much patience to keep my blog updated. Started off from www.vickn3s.blogspot.com to the current www.vickneswaran.com, all i can say is i made it too. I know it’s not something very great and some of the senior bloggers must be laughing at me thinking what is there to be proud of about it. But if you know me personally as a person who gives up easily, you might celebrate it with me as well.

The main reason keep me going for a year is the support from my friends and readers, your comments that keep me motivated and makes me wanna write more and more and feed you more and more crappy piece of mind from me.
I would just like to thank everyone, mean everyone, from the advertisers whom pays me to the silent readers of mine since the day one i started to blog. I felt i am a blogger when someone came up to me and ask, why aren’t you blogging since the past few days and they feel left out without reading it and I feel i should blog when someone who reads my blog as soon as they login to the internet in the morning. This is all small matters, but these all keep me move in a fast pace till i had the plan to get my blog an own domain and host it on my own couple of weeks and ago and here i am.
