"Friendly" government servant

Recently I read a statement from one of the minister saying the non malays are never keen in joining public service or government job. When i approached a few of my friends and shared the opinion about the mentioned issue and most of the feedbacks are expectedly negative i.e low pay, majority are conquered by a dominant ethnic where there wont be any chances of progress for the minority or some even claimed that’s the lazy man profession, lolxxx…
My experience with the public offices always will be double trip job…what i meant here is i never get a chance to settle my issues in one go. some how i will need to make another or even few trips to get my work complete. A week before hari raya, i went to road transport HQ in JB to renew my bike roadtax. when i reached the office it was 4pm, by time i renewed the vehicle insurance, its 4.15pm so i asked my buddy (achu) to get a Q ticket hence it will be just nice for us to get it done on time. When achu went to the counter, he met a common “FRIENDLY” officer at the information counter whom cant even give the Q ticket in the hand but he gave a cock stare and just threw it on the desk and continue to sleep. i repeat, he continued to SLEEP on the desk..u will get any chance to see such sincere public officer in other country?well, if u think im just over exxagerating, see below…..proudly present encik mohd ali bin taib

when i was going out of the place, another elderly pakcik came to take the Q ticket, that fella stood up and shook hand in malay style(kiss the hand) and gave a warm welcome…why is that so?is it because we are not fasting or is there something like mentioned here?

Bangalore continues–Nandi hill

it is approximately 70km journey from bangalore city..1,478 meters above sea level, there it situated the nandi hill, hill station of bangalore. It was Tipu Sultan’s summer retreat and Tipu’s fort walls still stand as testimony to history. The Tipu’s Drop, a 600 meter high cliff, where prisoners were hurled down the precipice is an awe-inspiring sight. Atop the hill is the Yoganandishwara temple. dont wish to say muc..below are the picture with captions…enjoy…anyway it was really nice trip..

story and picture of the yoganandiswara @ boganandiswara temple as below…
(source http://www.indiantemples.com/Karnataka/nandi_hills.html)
The ancient rulers of this region – the Banas built the Bhoganandeeswara temple in the 9th century. The Chola rulers of Tamilnadu built the hill temple.

The Bhoganandeeswara temple in the foothills shows an assimilation of architectural styles of several dyanasties that ruled the area. The Banas, the Cholas, the Hoysalas and the Vijayanagar rulers made contributions to this temple.

The original shrine is attributed to the Bana queen Ratnavali. Later on, the Arunachaleswara shrine was added to the temple complex. The Cholas of the eleventh century added Nandi mandapas to the temple. The Hoysalas who came in later built an ornate Kalyana mandapam. The Vijayanagar rulers added shrines to Uma Maheswara , Girijaamba and Apita Kuchaambal (see Tiruvannamalai). Local chieftans added two more prakarams to the existing temples. Thus the temple now consists of three prakarams and a tank.

The Yoganandeeswara hill temple is attributed to the Cholas of Tamilnadu. The Vijayanagar rulers added a shrine to Ambal and connected the two shrines with a corridor. The temple’s carvings on pillars and doorways are noteworthy.
